Sound Performance is 15 minutes from my house and I know one of the former owners. A lot of the 2JZ hysteria is fluff. Sure there are cars that make big power without issue, but they have their fair share of issues. Hell my friend now has an SL65 and used to have a 98 Supra with 830+ rwhp (he had a 97 prior to the 98 also). He was scared out of his mind that the car would break because he knows that they do.
